Quota Papakura’s support of The Hearing House over the past quarter of a century has helped create career-defining opportunities for some members of our audiological team. The club is part of Quota New Zealand which is a non-profit service organisation empowering women and children, the deaf and hard of hearing, and people with speech difficulties in local communities. The connection was first started in 2000 by The Hearing House’s late patron, Phil Ryall, and his family

The Hearing House van - providing flexible, accessible services directly to our communities
Last year, we proudly realised the vision of our founders, Sir Pat Moore and Phil Ryall, with the launch of our first mobile hearing clinic. A year ago, the Hearing House van was officially blessed at a special ceremony led by Tom Irvine and Robbie Paora of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, with a gathering of friends and supporters of The Hearing House. Celebrating Matariki with our kiritaki

Hazel’s journey: Discovering a whole new world at 84
Hearing House Client, Hazel Wood At 84 years old, Hazel Wood had been living with hearing difficulties for many years. Audiologists had supported her throughout that time, adjusting her hearing aids as her hearing changed. She had always appreciated their care and expertise.
