The Hearing House delivers thought leadership on service delivery at key international event

The Hearing House’s clinical director, Associate Professor Holly Teagle, is a key speaker at the second annual Cochlear Implant International Community of Action (CIICA) conference in Brussels from 16-17 October.

Holly will present on the expanding models of service delivery at The Hearing House, and will also chair the session on Delivering Services Differently, which will include presentations from six international speakers.

CIICA is a rapidly growing international network that brings together cochlear implant users, families, professionals, and advocacy organisations to share experiences, raise awareness, and influence policy so that more people who want cochlear implants can access them.

“Many countries face gaps in funding and services that result in inequalities and missed opportunities for people who are deaf and hard of hearing," says Holly.

“The common bond of shared challenges and celebrations is a uniting force of this organisation.”

The Hearing House has been a contributing member of CIICA since its inception.
