Ian received his cochlear implant on 11 September 2019. Ian believes the access to sound that the cochlear implant gives him has transformed his life.
Ian was in at The Hearing House and shared with us just how transformative having access to sound has been for him. Ian said when he saw a person in our waiting room "I tried to talk with him, but he couldn't hear me. I asked him which was his good ear, I went to his good side and we talked. He was lovely! He reminded me of exactly how I was two years ago. I could not hear anything ... Now I can talk with my friend Charlie for hours. I can hear everything he says, and he can understand everything I say ... It is good therapy."
