Last Friday — Loud Shirt Day — The Hearing House team, joined by our friends from Deaf Aotearoa, teamed up with Salesforce for a Loud Shirt Day celebration like no other: a mini-golf tournament at Holey Moley!
Everyone arrived in their boldest, brightest shirts, ready for some friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and a shared goal — to support Kiwis with hearing differences.
The afternoon was full of colour, connection, and community spirit, perfectly capturing what Loud Shirt Day is all about.

Loud Shirt Day is our annual fundraising campaign that helps bring the gift of sound to children and adults with cochlear implants across New Zealand.
This year was extra special as we joined our First Voice partners in Australia for a Trans-Tasman Loud Shirt Day campaign, celebrating the shared mission to help more people with hearing differences reach their full potential through sound.
First Voice is a network of leading organisations across Australia and New Zealand that provide early intervention and support for children who use cochlear implants and hearing technology to develop spoken language.
The Hearing House is proud to be a founding member of First Voice, working together to give every child the opportunity to thrive through sound and connection.
We’re very grateful to Salesforce for getting behind Loud Shirt Day, and to everyone who donated, dressed up, and helped us go LOUD for good. Your support makes a real difference for cochlear implant users and their whānau across the country. Thank you!
And there’s still time to get involved! If you’d like to donate or register your own Loud Shirt Day fundraiser, you can do so here: https://www.loudshirtday.org/event/the-hearing-house-new-zealand/home Every bit of support helps bring the sounds of life to more New Zealanders. 💛
