The Hearing House Preschool
The Hearing House Preschool is a unique centre established to create an accelerated learning environment for deaf, hearing impaired and hearing children to prepare them for mainstream school. We take a holistic play based teaching approach, promoting listening and spoken language in a nurturing environment. Our professional team is committed to an active partnership with families; and encompassing Te Whaariki (the National Early Childhood Curriculum Document). Our philosophy promotes:

The Hearing House Preschool programme offers a small class size and a high adult to child ratio. This provides each child with rich opportunities to explore experience and develop an enthusiasm for learning.
