Loud Shirt Day

Our most popular event is our annual fundraising campaign Loud Shirt Day. Loud Shirt Day is an event held every year in September where for one day of the month New Zealanders put on their loudest, brightest shirts to support deaf children. All the donations that are made from Loud Shirt Day go towards The Hearing House and the Southern Cochlear Implant Paediatric Programme to pay for specialist services to help deaf kids to listen and speak. Registration is free and we send each group who registers a free fundraising pack so that they can get the most out of Loud Shirt Day. Last year over 1,700 schools, work places, and community groups put on their Loud Shirts to support deaf kids in need.
